Should I refrigerate my jam?
Products should be refrigerated after first opening. Unopened products could be kept without refrigeration under normal conditions. They will remain safe to eat until the Best Before date labeled on the top of the jar lid. However, please be advised that over time the flavor and color of the products may decline and change.
Why do you advice to refrigerate the jam after opening?
Once the products are opened and every time it is used thereafter, it is exposed to mold and yeast spores that exist in the air. Keeping the product refrigerated will discourage spoilage. However, there is no known way to determine the exact shelf life of an opened product, therefore it is advised to use clean cutlery to use the product and reduce contamination of the stored product for the best outcome.
How long can I store a jar of your product?
Our products have a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production, The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight, however, in order to obtain maximum color and flavor of our products, we do recommend consuming them before the Best Before Date.
What exactly is a BBD, and how do I read it?
BBD is Best Before Date
BBD is about quality and not safety. The food will be safe to eat after this date but the quality will not be at its best. Its flavor and texture might not be as good as before the Best Before Date.
Which products are suitable for vegetarian or vegans?
All our jams are suitable for vegetarian or vegan diets.

What is the difference between jam, jelly, marmalade and preserves?
- JAM is made from a blend of crushed pieces of fruit and fruit puree.
- JELLY is made from fruit juice. Jelly is clear and firm enough to hold its shape when turned out of its container.
- MARMALADE is jelly with shreds of citrus fruit peel.
- PRESERVES contain whole or large pieces of fruit, making them thicker and more fruit-filled than jams or jellies.
Where can I purchase a product? Can I order product direct from the Company?
Our delicious THEDAY jams are available in supermarkets, shops and cooperative shops. However, if you prefer to purchase from our factory, we take bulk orders not less than a carton which contains 24 jars.
